Dr. Ubon Martin ESSIET – BSc, PgDip, MBA, OCP, AISMN, ABIFM, MCMI, FellowRSA, PhD

Dr. Ubon Martin Essiet is an experienced manager specialising in Operations Management, IT, Project Management, Asset Management, Financial Control, and Strategic Analysis.

Further to his Bachelors of Science (B.Sc. Hons) degree from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma (PgdDip) in Strategic Management from the Institute of Strategic Management, Lagos, Nigeria; a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom; and a PhD in Asset Management from the University of Huddersfield, England United Kingdom.

Since his graduation, He has worked in various capacity and held influential position including working as a Planner with Balfour Beatty Workplace, which is among the largest Facilities and Asset Management Company in the United Kingdom, handling major project in FM from defence to education. Dr. Essiet was involved in several Private Finance Initiative (PFI) projects within the education sector in the United Kingdom worth £138,000,000. He was responsible for the planning, coordination and monitoring of engineers involved in the North Lanarkshire and Birmingham schools’ projects, where he was charged with the duties of resource management, finance and budget control, and client relationship. Other roles he has held include Business Analyst, Cooper Software, The University of West of Scotland, UK, and Data Governances Specialist, Distrelec, Manchester, UK.

Dr. Essiet also holds various certification and memberships which include; Member, Chartered Management Institute (MCMI), United Kingdom; Associate, British Institute of Facilities Management (ABIFM), United Kingdom; Oracle Certified Professional Database Administrator, OCA and OCP USA;  and Fellow of The Royal Society of the Encouragement of Commerce and Arts (FRSA), United Kingdom.
